Shell and tube heat exchangers
Shell and tube heat exchangers - ETA EST
In the beginning of 1991
the company ROEN EST has started to produce the shell and tube heat exchangers ETA EST in the city of Romans
d´Isonzo. These heat exchangers have very large utilization in field of
air-conditioning and cooling, namely in chemical, petrochemical, food and
shipyard industries. Besides the standard catalogue execution a customer may
propose a special exchanger according to his requests with the help of our
selective program ETA EST TS&T, which can be downloaded on web page:

Our production program
of pipe sheathed exchangers includes following ranges:
-Range HX (vaporizers)
covers the capacity range
from 18 to 2179 kW in the executions with 1, 2, 3 or 4 independent cooling
circuits. Highly effective pipes with internal grooving are applied, enabling
thus to reach a high coefficient of heat transmission, a lower internal volume
and resulting reduced quantity of coolants and more compact dimensions and
lower weight of the exchanger.
Both horizontal and
vertical connections from water’s side are possible. The frontal part –
exchanger’s head – is removable which allows a simple access, cleaning and maintenance
of the exchanger. The distribution of the coolant (version with 2, 4 and 6
circuits) and the distance between internal separators (versions L, C, CC and CCC)
are optimized with the report to the secondary circuit and according to the
customer’s needs. The exchangers work with coolants which are compatible with
copper and carbon steel. Supporting arms of exchanger could be ordered
separately with accessories.
-Range R (condensers)
covers the capacity
range from 33 do 2317 kW. Highly effective pipes with internal or external
grooving and profile with low coefficient of clogging are applied, enabling
thus to reach a high coefficient of heat transmission, a larger space of heat
exchange, a lower internal volume and resulting reduced quantity of coolants
and more compact dimensions and lower weight of the exchanger. The frontal part
– exchanger’s head – is removable which allows a simple access, cleaning and
maintenance of the exchanger. The operational pressure from pipes’ sides is 10
bars.
The exchangers work with
coolants which are compatible with copper and carbon steel. Supporting arms of
exchanger could be ordered separately with accessories.
-Range OA (exchangers
water – oil)
14 standard models from
carbon steel cover the capacity range from 7,3 to 300 kW (with oil temperature
input/output 65/55°C , water input/output 15/20°C ). Exchangers work with
compatible coolants like mineral non synthetic oils, various emulsions of water
and oil and glycolic water. The operational pressure is 12 bars. The
operational temperature on oil’s side is 120 °C and on water’s side is 90 °C, on
request we can offer also exchangers with copper, CuNi, stainless steel and
titan pipes. When dealing with special coolants and applications, please
contact our technical department.
-Range DR (subcoolers)
11 standard models from
carbon steel with copper pipes cover the capacity range from 7 to 281 kW (for
Freon R407C temperature input/output 85/55°C , water input/output 45/50°C). The
operational pressure is 10 bars. On request we can offer also exchangers with
CuNi, stainless steel and titan pipes.
-Range CNH (condensers for ammonia NH 3 -
R717)
22 standard models
completely from carbon steel cover the capacity range from 35 to 1364 kW. The
operational pressure on pipes’ side is 10 bars. On request we can offer
exchangers with stainless steel and titan pipes.
-Range EAH, EANH (flooded vaporizers for R
507 or NH 3 - R717)
18 standard models of
EAH range are executed with copper, carbon steel, CuNi or titan pipes, case and
connections are from carbon steel. The exchanger’s head is removable which
allows simple cleaning of the exchanger; the construction might or might not
include a liquid separator.
17 standard models of EANH
range are executed with carbon steel, stainless steel or titan pipes, case and
connections are from carbon steel. The exchanger’s head is removable which
allows simple cleaning of the exchanger; the construction might or might not
include a liquid separator.
-Range FA (combustion products – water)
5 standard models cover
the capacity range from 65 to 319 kW (for combustion products input/output
500/120°C , water input/output 85/90°C), they were developed to achieve a
maximal heat recuperation from combustion products of motors and turbines. Heads
of combustion chambers are produced from stainless steel and they are removable
to facilitate the cleaning. The exchanger’s case includes also a thermal
dilatational element from stainless steel. The exchanger’s pipes are also from
stainless steel. The exchanger’s case and water connections are from carbon
steel.
-Range VA (exchangers with U pipes vapor –
water)
59 standard models with
carbon steel case and with stainless steel "U” pipes. Operational parameters on
pipes’ side 16 bars maxi, temperature 200°C maxi, on case’s side 10 bars maxi,
temperature 99°C maxi. On request we can offer exchangers with titan and copper
pipes.
Execution of exchangers
and their advantages:
Applied pipes (copper or
steel) show high performance regarding heat transmission thanks to specially
ribbed external and internal surfaces. Consequently, the exchangers are
compact, they need fewer coolants and they are lighter.
Both horizontal and
vertical connections on vaporizers from water’s side are possible. The
exchangers could be used also by aggressive conditions, for instance at sea
environment / used material CuNi for pipes.
All exchangers have
bleeder and discharge valves as well as supporting arms (in accessories).
Simple treatment /
removable head / when cleaning the exchangers.
Used materials:
The quality of all used
materials is in accordance with all requests defined by European regulations
and/or norms.
The removable head, the
plate with pipes, the case as well as water and coolant connections are from
carbon steel. The pipes are from copper (with the exception of the range NH –
the pipes are from stainless steel or from CuNi for marine execution.
The screens –
separators, regulating transmission – are from brass or other suitable
materials. The seals without the presence of the asbestos are appropriate when
used for liquids, coolants and lubricants.
Connecting materials are
from carbon or stainless steel.
